Built by someone who’s lived it

Faceted hard hat over crossed angular tools with a hexagonal wrench head, representing a builder's hands-on background

ScopeAccord started with a specific person’s specific frustration, not a market opportunity spotted from a distance.

Nate Jackson, ScopeAccord’s co-founder, has spent six-plus years as a general contractor and cabinetmaker, running quotes, scope, and change orders the same way most solo and small-crew contractors do: by hand, between jobs, usually later than he’d like. The product exists because he was the target user before he was the founder. Every “your words, made professional” decision, every insistence that nothing saves without confirmation, every refusal to let the AI quietly rewrite a contractor’s meaning, came out of knowing exactly what it feels like to hand a homeowner paperwork you’re not fully sure is right.

Co-founder Michelle Jackson brings the other half: twenty-plus years as a B2B SaaS product executive, including scaling regulated, PE-backed platforms in insurtech and HR tech. That background is why ScopeAccord treats compliance as a first-class product requirement instead of a legal afterthought. Counsel review as a launch gate, not a caveat added later.

We’re building this narrow on purpose. Wisconsin first, twenty-one supported trades, and real counsel review before anything ships, not because we lack ambition, but because a contract tool that’s actually right for one state beats one that’s vaguely usable everywhere. The plan is to earn the next state, and the one after that, the same way: by getting the first one right.

We launch in Wisconsin in two days. This one’s personal.
